Barcelona have announced the renewal of Hamza Abdelkarim, one of Egypt’s promising young talents. The 18-year-old forward has extended his contract with the Catalan club until 2030.
Abdelkarim developed through the youth system at Al Ahly, one of the biggest clubs in Egyptian football, before joining Barcelona last season.
The Egyptian forward made his first-team debut for Barcelona this season in a convincing victory over Rayo Vallecano on August 31.
The renewal represents another step in Abdelkarim’s development at the Spanish club, which continues to invest in his potential and long-term future.
Earlier this summer, the young striker was also part of Egypt’s squad at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he featured in four matches.
At just 18 years old, Abdelkarim has already gained valuable experience at both club and international level. His new contract keeps him at Barcelona until 2030 as he continues his development and aims to establish himself within the club’s first-team setup.
